FIRE Protection OPERATIONS MANAGER
Josh Winter serves as Fire Protection Operations Manager at James Lane Mechanical, A Fidelity Company, where he oversees daily department operations, including inspection and repair activities, quality control through ride-alongs, and workflow optimization to keep projects on schedule and within budget. In this role, Josh leads and mentors project managers, technicians, and field staff, while partnering with leadership to ensure successful project delivery and strong client relationships. He also manages departmental financial performance, including budget oversight, contract evaluation, and vendor coordination to support operational efficiency and profitability.
With a diverse background spanning military service and project management, Josh brings a disciplined and results-driven approach to his role. He served more than a decade in the U.S. Army as a Special Forces Green Beret, where he led complex, cross-functional teams in both domestic and international environments. His experience includes healthcare operations leadership, operational planning and design, and curriculum development.
Following his military service, Josh transitioned into the HVAC/Mechanical services industry, where he has held multiple project management roles within James Lane Mechanical. His combined experience in leadership, operations, and project execution positions him to effectively guide the fire protection division and support the company’s continued growth.
